Cooking, dusting, and the death penalty were all topics of discussion for the middle school girls at Creative Cuisine’s February 6 session. The girls filled the kitchen with the aroma of fresh-baked scones, accompanied by strawberry butter. They received practical instruction on cleaning without harsh chemicals using microfiber cloths. And during their spiritual formation session, they engaged in lively discussion of the fifth commandment, “Thou Shalt Not Kill,” with all the implications it has for both daily life and a number of modern issues. Creative Cuisine helps girls learn life skills, self-confidence, and character, with hands-on classes and practical talks on Christian living that help develop a sound moral and ethical worldview.
